I will be using Fenbendazole (Safe-Guard or Panacur) which is one of the safest dewormers on the market. Fasting is not required and it is safe during pregnancy and lactation.
My Vet will continue do all the puppy shots, worming at 6 weeks and heart worm medication along with the annual vaccinations for my adult dogs. That way it gives everyone the full check up from the vet each time. Listening to their hearts, checking their growth and everything else.
Your puppy will be guaranteed until one year of age against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. Please know that this guarantee will be replacement only.
Your puppy will see a vet and be certified before it is shipped the vet will check out heart lungs joints etc. But puppies like babies can still get sick you the owner should be aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian.
As of the date of delivery, the puppy has been wormed by me twice and once when 1st vaccinations at the vet were given. Also has had one round of heart worm medication. They have been seen by the vet a minimum of 3 times. The first visit is for getting tails done. Second visit is for a checkup, starting puppy shots and the third is getting the health certificate.
Please be aware sometimes a puppy will get a cold, or coccidia (a stress related diarrhea). You will want to consult your vet if condition does not improve.
A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:
Animal must show the defect by one year of age. At which time please notify me as soon as possible of the problem. I will need a report with the veterinarian's determination. At which time I will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. If there is not one available at that time, I will inform you of the next expected litter. You would get first pick. Your puppy with a defect may have to be returned or euthanized if it is deemed necessary. You the Buyer Will be responsible for transportation cost on a replacement puppy this means airfare, crate, delivery to airport and vet certification. I try to keep my prices reasonable so covering the shipping would be impossible.
About your replacement puppy
Your replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both of us and will be of comparable quality.
It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of original puppy.
I have not had to replace any of my pups nor do I know of anything that runs in the breed that would cause you problems. But I do want you to be assured I will do what it takes for you, the buyer, to be happy with your baby.
Injury or neglect is not covered under the health guarantee.
